Today, the first total solar eclipse visible to the United States since 1979 will occur. Join TCU’s College of Science & Engineering, Andrews Institute of Mathematics & Science Education and Student Affairs in the Campus Commons at 11 a.m. as they host a solar eclipse viewing party, complete with special viewing glasses, telescopes featuring filtered lenses and, of course, complimentary snacks and games.

Outside magazine recommends 10 songs to enjoy as you view the eclipse and you can rock on by reading TCU Magazine’s digital-first story featuring the research of Kat Barger, associate professor, Physics & Astronomy.
